GENERAL INFORMATION This AAAS Science & Technology Policy Fellowships DC-area listserv facilitates networking among former AAAS Fellows (AAAS-administered fellowships and those administered by AAAS partner scientific societies) living in the greater Washington, DC region. The listserv is for former AAAS Fellows living in the greater DC region and relevant AAAS staff only. We encourage all former Fellows living in the DC area to take advantage of the listserv to continue interactions as alumni of the AAAS Science & Technology Policy Fellowships. The objectives of this list are: 1. To provide a forum for ongoing communication and dialogue on science, technology, and policy issues. 2. To enable former AAAS Fellows to exchange experiences, share success stories and concerns, seek input on issues, and continue professional networking in the local DC area. 3. To serve as a means for disseminating information on DC-area science, technology, and policy-related conferences and other events, social and networking gatherings, housing listings, and other regionally focused items. 4. To facilitate timely communication between the AAAS Fellowships staff and former Fellows in the DC area. Subscribing to DCFellows
Subscribe to DCFellows by filling out the following form. This is a closed list, which means your subscription will be held for approval. You will be notified of the list moderator's decision by email. This is also a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
